Meet Our Faculty
At Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital, our Burns Unit stands as a beacon of hope, led by a team whose passion for healing goes beyond medicine.
Each specialist brings not only unmatched expertise but also an unwavering commitment to the people we serve.
Here, skill meets heart — and science meets compassion.
Our faculty is united by one purpose: to transform pain into possibility. With every procedure, every breakthrough, and every moment of care, we strive to redefine what’s possible in burn treatment. Together, we are not just treating wounds — we are restoring dignity, confidence, and the will to live again.
Through innovation, teamwork, and empathy, we continue to light the path of healing for those who need it most.
